Moel Siabod circular walk via beginner friendly Daear Ddu scramble.

Join me for a circular walk beginning in Capel Curig and up to the summit of Moel Siabod at 872m. This route will take us on the beginner level Grade 1 scramble of the Daear Ddu Ridge on the south-east side of the mountain, where there is always the option to avoid the exposure if you want to. We pass through the ruins of a disused quarry and return along the path of the north east ridge. There are seldom any crowds on this route, even at the summit and the views across to the Glyderau and Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) are stunning (weather permitting!).
Ideal for those with a general good level of walking fitness and the desire to get your hands on some rock for clambering.
