We will follow the same 25km circular route through open countryside, woodland tracks and classic Chiltern valleys as the 1 Day Challenge event, in a smaller group size of no more than 6, with just a little extra 1 – 2km added on for access to the campsite. We start in the riverside town of Marlow and make our way through postcard‑worthy villages, past the iconic Turville windmill from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, and across a mix of varied terrain, keeping the pace relaxed and easily manageable as we carry our packs for the overnight stay.

You will be carrying everything you need for 2 days of walking, sleeping, eating and drinking. This is a perfect opportunity for a peaceful getaway, feeling remote and tucked away in a hidden campsite that feels nearly wild! After a relaxing first day’s walk, we will pitch our tents and cook our evening meals. Wood is provided for a campfire if we would like and there are toilet facilities, but not all of the other add-ons that you find at bigger campsites. This is really just a field away from all the noise. On the morning of day 2 we will pack up our camp and walk our second leg of the route back to Marlow for the afternoon.

This would also be a good choice for anyone looking to begin their wild camping adventures, but either don’t know where to start or need to build confidence in a supportive environment before setting off without a guide.

Please note that I can offer the option of doing these two days without carrying your kit, but our support crew can transport it to the campsite ready for our arrival and then deliver it back to us at the finish! This would be ideal if you are carrying any particular injuries or illnesses and need a little extra support to be able to experience a special 2 day event like this. Speak to me about this in advance to arrange.
